A Reddit launch post for FauxTalks, a free fake chat screenshot maker, drew 96K views and 80 comments, and kept sending traffic from reddit.com for about five and a half months. Weekly visits climbed from 76 in February to 854 by mid June, then fell to around 360 after the thread was archived. Since the post, the product expanded from 16 to 20 platforms, added video export and a watermark.
