TypeSafe AI released Jev, a decision-only large model that skips dialogue and text generation to output judgments directly, running 20 - 200x faster than traditional LLMs at $0.042 per million tokens with free output tokens. In the author's tests, Jev ranked second in accuracy on pre-screening tasks while being cheaper, and achieved top accuracy and speed on parallel judgment tasks. Trained with RLCD for decision calibration, access is available via application at https://typesafe.ai/, with Vercel as the first integration.
